I have to take the side of Charlie and Master Higgins in this debate. Especially the over sensitivity of certain perceived themes, and particular actions in Man of Steel. The only thing that they changed which I had a problem with it is the removal of the red sun of Krypton.

I agree with both charlie and higgins on this too. Superman is a freaking alien how the hell could you not expect it to be partly sci fi!?!? I appreciate the movie for telling superman’s origin in krypton. he’s real parent’s motivation of saving him. I love it for the reasons that the preconceived expectations like kryptonite and luthor weren’t present. I dont even think i heard John William’s “superman” score in it and i havent heard ryan scott complain about it in geekbox podcast. I even love the idea that he was never called “superman” in the movie even. the closest one to say that was lois and she was cut off by the military. Nobody ever labelled him as freaking superman since he was still identified as an alien in the movie. the humans havent trusted him enough yet to label him as a representative of earth. anyway, great show guys!

sry, this was the last episode for me. omar and bryce are getting on my nerves. they behave like kids.
I think you guys walked into this movie to hate it. You guys wants WAY too much from an action movie.

For once can you start talking about things you like in life.
You guys are like the 3 rejects at a bar that laughs at people. Without realizing you’re the biggest ones in the room.
Man of Steel is easily better than Iron Man 1. But that’s life and it’s my oppinion, while for me The Fountain and Prometheus are in my top 5 movies ever, you guys probably like Fast and the Furious or some Bruce Willis movie better.
